Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Route
GPS log of the 8 km (4.5 miles) Ingleton Waterfall Trail circular walk - hike would be a better word to use. Did not think I would survive it at times while going through this.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - trail starts
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Start of the trail, walking from the car park.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Broadwood
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail... Broadwood
First stop on the trail walk. Unfortunately there wasn't much rain before we arrive here, so the water flow is not that great.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Swilla Glen money tree
Strange phenomenon of gnarled old trees with coins embedded all over their bark. Seem to be spotted on trails from the Peak District to the Scottish Highlands.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - First Pecca Falls
2nd stop in the trail walk. There was a viewing area about 500m away but we saw nothing from there - probably because we don't know where to look and also the (not enough) amount of water passing through the fall.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Pecca Twin Falls
3rd stop in the trail walk. At least there was enough water, even if it was little, to show the twin falls.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Near Thornton Force
View from the Ingleston Waterfall Trail - Just before reaching Thornton Force. You can see the start of the climb. Before this area, it was more of a forest terrain.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Thornton Force
According to some, this is one of Britain's most photogenic waterfalls. The river falls 14m (50ft) over limestone rocks in an impressive cascade of water into the rocky pool below.

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Uphill next area
Top of the trail just after Thornton Force; facing forward, another climb ahead.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - "Small bridge, flowing water" moment
A "Small bridge, flowing water" (????) moment; leading the climb upwards again.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Near highest point (Pano)
Almost reaching the highpoint in the trail, the view is now different!
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Ingleborough and White Scar Caves
View of Ingleborough, one of the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks; with White Scar Caves entrance at the foreground.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Beezley Falls
The Beezley Falls are the first waterfalls encountered on the River Doe when commencing the return leg of the trail, and Triple Spout is almost right next to the path.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Triple Spout
River Doe flows immediately to Triple Spout after Beezley Falls, thus some will lump both waterfalls together as Beezley Falls.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - part of Triple Spout
Close up shot of 2 waterfalls (spout) at the Triple Spout.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail - Rival Falls
The Rival Falls has two cascades separated by a plunge pool 60ft (18m) below, this pool is known locally as Black Hole and is believed to be 80ft deep. This part is the lower cascade, which usually separates into two falls either side of a rocky knobble.
